Keisuke Murayama
Keisuke Murayama received his bachelor degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Upon graduation, he accepted an internship offer to work at a computer software company in India for six months. After returning to Japan, he joined Accenture Ltd, a global consulting firm. He engaged in overseas development and marketing strategies. He left Accenture and founded Portal Japan Inc. in 2006.
Hi, I'm Keisuke Murayama, the President at Portal Japan Inc.
Based on my background in the U.S, India and some other countries, I am eager to bridge the gap between Japan and the rest of the world. I love to travel and chat with people from different backgrounds.


• I have a really cute pet, a black toy poodle.

• I was a member of AIESEC. AIESEC changed my life in a positive way.

Masahiro Kase

Masahiko Kase
Hello! I’m Masahiko.
At Portal Japan, I work as a full-time web director and I am also in charge of the inbound tourism department. My favorite food is ramen. I often go to ramen restaurants with my colleagues around Ikebukuro.

Yuki Tokuda

Yuki Tokuda
Born in Kanagawa prefecture and grew up in Tokyo. Multitalented.
He is a boxer, B-boy, anime addict and who knows what else he can do.
Inspired by European culture during his study in Great Britain, he decided to join Portal Japan to help promote Japan to the world.

James Wu

James Wu
Known as the "marketing guy." He was born in Minnesota, U.S. and his long journey of living abroad began at age 1. He has been to China, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and now resides in Japan. He moved to Tokyo in 2008 to work for Portal Japan as the global web marketer. James oversees both SEO and SEM strategies at Portal Japan and provides web consulting services to clients. His goal is to become a web marketing guru in the Asia Pacific.

• Favorite movie is the “Space Jam”

Baasanjav Bilegsaikhan (aka Benny)
The Mongolian "nomad". He is responsible for most of Portal Japan’s technical work. He was working for a software development company before joining Portal Japan.
He really likes rock music and developing programs. When Benny is away from his computer, he either spends time reading books or watching movies and documentaries.

Miho Ozawa

Miho Ozawa

She worked for one of the most famous portal sites in Japan as a web designer before joining Portal Japan.
She has many different design talents, which helps her to create unique pieces of art.
In 2004, she studied English abroad in Montreal, Canada.
She speaks three languages: Japanese (native), French, and English.
When she is not working, you might find her strolling along outside.

Yu Zongyan

Yu Zongyan
Yu originally comes from the Jilin providence of China. I am Korean Chinese who was taught and raised bilingually. I started studying Japanese in middle school since Japanese culture was really interesting to me. I specialize in web design and website development in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese at Portal Japan. My goal is to expand Portal Japan’s business into China.


• Loves Chinese pickles so much that I can’t live without it
• Likes to play online games with my roommate during my spare time

Shigeru Shimada

Shigeru Shimada
I have experience in inbound business while working for a travel agency and have worked for web development companies as a web producer before starting at Portal Japan. My favorite field is website analysis and one of my works "100 University Website Ranking Report" was published in December 2008.


•I have been to Spain five times and can speak some basic Spanish.
•I like singing.
•I love salmon and lobster.
